Repackaged app is behaving oddly

I have an application that I have repackaged. This has been something I have done for several years now, and not always, but 100% with this last time. It seems that when you double-click a file instead of opening it from File Open, the app wants to run a repair. I have turned off the advertised icon thing, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

One key thing to note is that the application is being installed from Intune, so the installer MSI is no longer available on the person's machine. If I copy it to their machine, it says it is the wrong file.

What can I change in the build to prevent this from happening?

Re: Repackaged app is behaving oddly

Hello,

The fact that a repair is triggered suggests advertised shortcuts are used. However, I can't say for sure until I take a look over the project.

Would you be able to share with me a copy of the AIP file (resulted after the repackaging process) and a download link for the repackaged setup so I can further investigate this on my end? If so, please send the reosurces via email at support at advancedinstaller dot com.

Best regards,
