How to display "Text" control on a gif animated "Image" control

Dear Advanced Installer Team,

I am using Advanced Installer Version 23.4 Enterprise Windows 11 25H2.

I'd like to create an installer with animated rendering, but when I use a GIF animation for an image control set in the background, the text control gets hidden.
It seems to move to the front every time a GIF frame changes. Similarly, when text is drawn in a dialog where the status changes during installation, the text is displayed for a moment, but is immediately hidden by the GIF image.

Is there any way to display text on a GIF animation?

The image below shows the dialog being edited. Text is set on a GIF image.

The image below is the installation screen. Text is hidden by a GIF image.

Re: How to display "Text" control on a gif animated "Image" control

Hello,

Can you please send us the following resources by email to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can further test and investigate this:

1. the .AIP (setup project) file.
2. the .gif file.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,
Liviu
