"Add Dialog" in "First Time Install" sequence is grayed out and does not function

Dear Advanced Installer Team,

I am using Advanced Installer Version 23.3 Enterprise.

I customized some dialog screens, specified the EULA URL link and rtf file, and then tried to add a LicenseAgreementDlg, but the "Add Dialog" button is grayed out and I can no longer click it.

If I change the theme and reset it, I can click Add Dialog, but all the fonts and dialog layouts I've set are lost, so I'd like to find a way to solve this problem other than that.

Is there a solution?

Hello Akira,

I think that might be due to the fact that you removed some dialogs from the sequence.

In order for me to have a better view over this, could you please provide a copy of the Advanced Installer project file (.AIP) so I can have a look over its settings? You can upload it here or send it over via email at support at advancedinstaller dot com.

Thank you for your reply.

I will send you the Advanced Installer project file (.AIP) as requested.

We removed confidential information from the original project, so its functionality is greatly reduced; however, the issue with the “Add Dialog” button not being clickable still occurs.

I would appreciate it if you could take a look at its settings.

Hello Akira,

Thank you for the project file!

In order to add more dialogs, we need to first add a dialog in the sequence.

To do so, right click on "PrepareDlg" and click on "New dialog in sequence".

That will allow you to add more dialogs afterwards.

Thank you for providing the solution.

By following these steps, we were able to add the desired "LicenseAgreementDlg"!

1 Right-click "PrepareDlg" and click "New dialog in sequence." (This is what you suggested. Thank you!)
2 2 Click the "NewSeqDialog" created in step 1, then click "Add Dialog" select "LicenseAgreementDlg" and add it.
3 Right-click the unnecessary "NewSeqDialog" and delete it.

I'm not sure if this is the correct solution, but it looks like I can move forward with the project for now.
