Java Products Tab – “Description” Field Missing in GUI (Advanced Installer v22.3)

Hi Advanced Installer team,

We are currently using Advanced Installer v22.3 (Professional Edition) to package and deploy our Java-based applications.

In the Java Products tab, there's a column labeled "Description" which appears in the table where .jar entries are listed. However:

There is no visible input field in the GUI where this description can be set or edited.

We expected a field in the lower section (where Main Class, Arguments, JVM Options, etc., are set) to define this value, but it's missing.

➤ Use Case:
We’d like to populate the Description field with details such as copyright notices or internal identifiers.
For example:
Product Name © 2025 xxx. All rights reserved.

Hello Rakesh and welcome to our forums,

Not quite sure I fully understand your scenario here, as I'm not able to find the "Description" field you mentioned.

Do you perhaps mean the EXE metadata?

If so, that field can be modified if you use the "Use specific value" option:
