About update server OS...

Hello, I am David.
I wonder it is possible that we use Linux(maybe ubutu) as update server OS.
In the update server(Linux), we will upload and manage our product's installation files based Advanced Installer.
Our service target Platform is Windows OS, That's OK.

Hello David,

Yes, there should be no problem. As long as the download URL of the updates configuration file and of the updates setup is reachable from a Windows machine there should be no issue. All what our Updater tool does is to download locally the updates config file, process it and if there is the case download locally the updates setup and launch it for installation.
