Installed program fails after update to 11.8 build 62156

I just updated to build 11.8.62156 of AI.

My installations since then are crashing.

The original program (source of the installer build) runs OK. The installed program does not.

When I compare the two folders and manually update the installed folder with the differences, it still fails.

I am aware that the problem may be mine, but I wanted to know in anyone else was experiencing installation failures with this build.

I am installing onto MS SurfacePro's that are running Windows 8.1 Pro.

I think my app is losing a battle with the operating system/virtual store.

Because my app writes back to it's self, and depends on those updates, it is having this failure.

The solution seems to be to install the app where the Virtual Store does not apply (Documents).
