Uninstalled Program still shows up in Control Panel

I have been testing an installation. It installs fine, but I go to uninstall it under Windows 7 control panel, and it says it is uninstalled. However, the description still shows up. When I try to uninstall it again, it says can't uninstall a program not installed. Any thoughts. Thanks.

Hi Jerry,

I am dealing with same issue. In my case it's happening after upgrade when used options "Install new version first and then uninstall old version" and "Override Windows Installer programs list entry".

Can you please send us the .aip (project file) to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate its settings and test your scenario? Also, can you please specify if you could replicate the behavior on multiple clean machines?

It would be very useful if you could isolate the behavior in a sample and send it us alongside a detailed test case scenario which we could follow to replicate the issue.
