synchronized folder does not exclude .svn

Can anyone help me understand why the .svn folder is included in a synchronized folder even though it's specifically excluded by default? Please see this screenshot:

Re: synchronized folder does not exclude .svn

Hi,

I'm not sure why this happens. Can you please try creating a new test project and enabling synchronization in it? To see if the behavior persists.

Also, can you please tell us what version of Advanced Installer are you using and on what OS?

The only scenario in which that folder could be present there is if it was added manually, then the synchronization would not remove it, and we would be tricked
into thinking it was added to the list by the synchronization process.

Re: synchronized folder does not exclude .svn

Hmmm, it seems to happen when I turn on Synchronize after using Add Folder but not after using New Folder. I guess that's the solution, then.

Perhaps, in the future, you could add an option for "Add Synchronized Folder" so it's a little more intuitive?

Re: synchronized folder does not exclude .svn

Hello,

When using "Add folder", Advanced Installer imports the folder structure with all its settings, subfolders and files. These imported settings may overwrite the "Synchronize folder" operation.

Thank you for your suggestion, we will try to improve this behavior in the future.

All the best,
