v 4.1.2--Exception error in some projects created in v3.3.1

I was running AI v 3.3.1. I created a project to install an app (in Pro Mode). The resultant MSI installed fine. No problem there.

Anyway, recently I upgraded to v4.1.2.

But when I open my old Project file, I get the following error:
"Exception - A row with this key [id APPDIR\Scanner\WASP\DTComm.hlp] was already registered in the table."
It doesn't matter whether I launch AI first then open the project or if I dbl-click the .aip file directly.

Then after I acknowledge the error, AI is left in a new Simple project like state.

This happens on a couple of my old projects (they happen to have the same file referenced in the error). Note this is a file I remember putting in my project.

Any ideas on how to recover this project? I don't recall the details all the work I put into it to make sure it worked right.

I tried manuall editing the .aip file and removeing the lines referencing the dtcomm.hlp file, but I then just get a generic Exception error.

Other projects I created in 3.3.1 are working fine in 4.1.2.

Thanks

Hi,

Please send the AIP file to support at advancedinstaller dot com.

I submitted my file.

FYI-Seems to still be an issue with v4.2

Hi,

The problem is not with the current version of Advanced Installer, but with the AIP file itself. It is affected by a bug which has been fixed in version 3.5 and needs some manual editing before it will open successfully in newer version of AI.

If there are other files that need to be fixed, please send them (zipped) to our support email address.

Ionut
