Application icon in taskbar when "stacked" in Wind

Hi,

I like the fact that when I run a Java application with the executable wrapper, there is an icon and an application title in the taskbar for my app rather than the Java icon and a generic title.

However, when there are three or more instances of my application running, and Windows XP stacks them in the taskbar, the icon for the group reverts to a standard Windows application icon, and the title in the taskbar changes to "Java(TM) 2 Platform Standard Edition binary".

I have seen other apps where the icon and title don't change in this situation. It would be great if executable Java wrappers from Advanced Installer could do this.

Hi Bruce,

When running a single instance of the application, in the taskbar is displayed the default icon and title for your application.

When more then one instances are running and a group is created, the assigned icon is the one you select when you create the java product. This icon is specified in the "Java Products" page, "Settings" tab. The title displayed is the "Product Name" provided in the "Product Details" page.

Please check that you have selected an icon for your application.
