Animated GIF during ProgressDlg?

is possible to inserted animated gif in a dialog editor?
I saw there is only the possibility to use bmp, jpg and jpeg.

Does AI support animated GIF?

Hi,

I'm afraid that ".gif" format is not supported.
The only file types that you can use are: bmp, jpg, and jpeg.

I'm using 9.7 version.

".gif" format is supported if i packet a ".exe" file.
I wonder is ".gif" format support ".msi" file.
