Warning 4154 Adobe Flash Player prerequisite

The built-in Adobe Flash Player prerequisite no longer works for me, resulting in Warning 4154. Apparently, the NPSWF32.dll file referenced in the search has been renamed to include its version number as part of the file name (e.g., NPSWF32_11_5_502_110.dll).

I've been unsuccessful in using wildcards for the search, whether using the built-in prerequisite or a custom prerequisite. Is there a way to make a working prerequisite with this file naming convention?

Hello,

In order to achieve what you want you can use the Search done by a custom executable criteria. You can try creating a custom EXE (which will perform a search with wildcards) and using it to determine if the prerequisite should be installed or not.

The Predefined prerequisites for "Adobe Flash Player" has been added in version 11.3 of Advanced Installer released on June 17th, 2014.
