Files missing after Save and re-load

I am a newbie and starting using this installer only yesterday, I have the Enterprise version.

The install is fairly simple, 5 folders with 18.6 GB of assets in them and 34 files in the root path of the install. these 34 files consist of exe, ini, dll.

The source folder is 11,607 files, with 108 folders in total. Total size count is 18.6GB

all looks fine and builds fine.

If I save the project and then re-load it. Under Files and Folders -> Application Folder, all the five folders are there with all of the assets, but the root only now shows 5 of the 34 files that were there when saved.

does anyone know what is the problem?

I have done a little more investigation into this and found the following.

The program does not seem to be able to deal properly with source files which are hidden. The "files and folders" area seems to reflect the state of the actual source file, and shows them hidden, yet some hidden files do show in the list.

the workaround so far, is to unhide ALL files in the source folder, include them in the project and then mark them as hidden under properites from within the installer.

As I work on this more i will report any other finding on this matter.

Hi,

For Synchronize folders you can edit filters that will allow you to specify which files will be added to the package. And by default hidden or system files are not included. To edit filters for a Synchronize folder choose "Edit Filters..." button from "Edit folder" dialog.
