Uninstall Error: Using Control Panel, Add Remove Programs

Hello All:

While Uninstalling the application Using Control Panel: "Add Remove Programs" we are getting an error (Refer attachment "Uninstall Error.JPG")

Note: If we remove the application from the created "Uninstall" shortcut (for our application) on "All Program" the uninstall operation is success.

Can someone verify that there no issues in the .aip file and if any can you disclose them and let us know the resolution to fix them.

I'm not sure why you encountered this behavior.
In order to have a better view about this, can you please also attach a verbose log of the uninstall process?

Hi Yogesh,

From the log file I cannot see any error or any warning messages. So, it looks like your product is successfully uninstalled. Did you get any error when you created the uninstall log file?

Hello Dan:

The log is created using the Remove (button) option during the maintenance mode.

The installation work without any issue if we uninstall the application using the "Remove" button (during maintenance mode) or using the created Uninstall shortcut present under "All Programs".

If we try to uninstall from the "Add Remove Programs"/"Uninstall a Program" present under "Control Panel" then the error message is displayed. And this error is displayed as soon as you click on the program "Uninstall" option
