Blank exit dialog

Some customers are reporting that when they get to the end of the installation process, the last dialog (apparently ExitDialog), it is completely blank except for the Title text object and the Finish button. Everything else is missing, including the subtitle and description objects. Most importantly, the window is disabled, apparently because it does not have focus. That is, if another application window is on top, then the installer window can not be brought forward. The Finish button is likewise visible but not accessible. So the dialog (and therefore the installer as a whole) cannot be closed. It has to be closed through the Task Manager.

The installation is complete at this point and the app runs normally.

At my request, these customers have installed repeatedly in order to try to help me isolate this problem. But it happens inconsistently. It seems to be affected by whether the user accesses another application while the installer is running (although even that does not always trigger the problem). That is, the installer goes into the background and never comes to the foreground again when it is finished.

I am using the Air theme, in case that matters. I have not customized ExitDialog in any way.

I see, this is very strange behavior. Can you please send us the built package manifesting this via e-mail?
Also please include a test case scenario so we can try to replicate the issue here.

It would also help if we knew the machines OS you tested this on.

Sorry but I don't understand what you are requesting. As I said, occurrence is intermittent and cannot even be replicated on demand by the customers. The common factor seems to be that the customer used some other software while the installer was running, resulting in the installer not having focus when the process is complete.

It would also help if we knew the machines OS you tested this on.

The three cases which have so far responded to this question are using Win7x64. Two are using the Home Edition and one Professional.

I was asking for a test case or any other guidance so we can replicate the issue. If we are unable to replicate it on our test machines, then there's nothing much for us to debug or investigate, is there?
We'll try to work with the conjuncture information you've given us and we'll get back to you once we have a conclusive answer.

That's a malformed variant of the ExitDialog like you mentioned. There can be no accidental settings involved so the dialog has the text erased or "Finish" button disabled. This is unless the functionality was determinedly implemented on purpose.

We'll get back to you once our investigation proves conclusive.

Unfortunately we could not replicate the behavior you mentioned. Unless you can provide a more reliable test case scenario there's nothing we can currently do.
