forece reboort on windows 7/64bits machine

Hi,

For the whole morning, I am trying to reboot the computer after installation completion. But it did not work. I have a 7.2/enterprise version.

I set install parameters > reboot behavior to "Force Reboot after Install". Two dialogs popped up with no messages inside. I clicked either yes or no made no differences: it did not reboot. Strangely enough, if I uninstall the package, it prompted me for a reboot and did reboot if clicked yes. Is this a bug that it should do the reboot after installation but instead, incorrectly does reboot after uninstall.

I also followed the instructions stated in this page but did not work either: http://www.advancedinstaller.com/user-g ... stall.html

Please help.

Best,

Wayne

Hi Wayne,

I'm not sure why you are encountering this behavior. Can you please send us the .AIP (project) file you are using and a verbose log of the installation process to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate them?

The problem is fixed in version 7.5.2 of Advanced Installer
