Hi,

yesterday I played a bit with a german installation created by Advanced Installer. I noticed that there are a lot of mistypes or very strange translations of some parts...

Haven't you checked the translations before using them?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The translation was made by one of our German clients.

We would appreciate very much if you could send the strings that are badly translated to support at advancedinstaller dot com.

You can find all the German strings used for translation in the ui_de.ail file in the \dictionaries folder of Advanced Installer's directory.

did you receive a new version of that file? Because I also corrected some major bugs of that translation myself.

I would also like to have the prerequisites dialogs translated. How can this be done?

Hi Stephan,

We did receive some fixes for the German translation but they should have been integrated a couple of versions ago.

Please send in your corrections as well, if you have noticed the problems in the latest release. Send them to support at advanced installer dot com.

The prerequisites are being worked on. Send us an email and we will send you a release candidate build, for double checking.
