Keep file on uninstall

Hi

I'm using Advanced Installer 6.1. Can I specify, on one of the files I install via "Files and Folders", that the file should not be deleted when my program is uninstalled?

Hi,

You cannot specify this from the Files and Folders page, but you can do it in the Organization page.

Organize the file that you want to keep into one or several components and mark those components as Permanent from the Component Properties page. This will make the files from those components not to be removed when uninstalling the application.
