MSVCR71.dll not found

Hi,

Some of my users are getting the following message after having installed my application.

This application failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I did a search and there appears to be some history on this problem however it was supposed to be fixed in AI 4.6.2. My package was built using AI 6.5. I am able to replicate this problem using Windows XP and JRE 6.2. The DLL is present in the JRE bin directory.

Any ideas on what is causing this and how I might be able to fix it.

I'm not sure why you are encountering this behavior. Can you please send us the AIP you are using to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate it?
