Uninstall error
After uninstallation, the tool's entry still appears in the list of installed programs. Is there a way to fix this or narrow down the issue?

Hello,
Are you able to reproduce this on a clean machine?
I would suggest creating a clean VM and trying to test this over there.
If the issue is not reproducible, then most likely something got "corrupted" on your machine that leads to this behavior - it is not really recommended to test on your dev machine that often, because installing and uninstalling multiple times may lead to this.
A possible fix for this would be the FixIt tool from Microsoft.
