AI_SETUPEXEPATH is being set incorrectly

AI_SETUPEXEPATH seems to be set to the correct path initially but during AppSearch it seems to be set to an older packages location. I am assuming this package path is stored somewhere like the registry and changing or removing it might solve the problem. However, I am looking for a solution or a work around to stop it form being set incorrectly or to reset it to the correct path after AppSearch. I tried the solution listed in the post here viewtopic.php?t=21975 this does not seem to work though. No matter where I set the custom action (to set a new property to store the initial value of AI_SETUPEXEPATH) to run it is always run after AppSearch and the corrupting of AI_SETUPEXEPATH.

This can happen if you are performing an upgrade and the "Use original installation path when uprading" option is enabled in the Upgrades page.

If that is not the case, can you please send us the .AIP (setup project) file by email to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can further test and investigate this?
