Updating Domain

HI,

I would like to build msi files to install Windows updates from Group Policy for our whole domain. Is there a some way to tell me what files are installed and what registry changes are made when I do an update, so I know what to include in my MSI file?

BTW this product is awsome!

Thanks

Thanks!

I am not sure I understand your question, but AI can't build patches yet, you need to include all the files and registry values in the MSI.

The question I have is if there is a tool (within AI or somewhere else you know of) that will take a snapshot of my system before a Windows Update and one after, so that I know what files and regestry entries I need to include in my MSI file to distribute it to all of my users.

Thanks

To hopefully clarify this, I have downloaded the exe from windows update, and extracted the files. I am not sure where to go from here while I am building the msi file to deploy. How do I know what entries to put in the registries part of AI, and how do I know what directories to point the files to while building my msi?

Hope this makes some sense!

I think what you need is a repackager - AI is not that.
