install does not detect 64 bit java

We have a 32 bit application which requires a Java install. The application works properly with either a 32 or 64 bit Java installation. In the prerequisites Java is checked as required. This works properly if the target has a 32 bit Java installed. If there is a 64 bit Java installed, the installer does not "see" it and requests a Java install. Is there a way around this? it is confusing to the end user.

I'm not sure why you encounter this behavior. Can you please send us the .AIP (project file) and a verbose log of the installation to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate them?
