Hello Catalin,
We already had an installation of Adv Inst on our build server, in fact to work around this issue, I disabled the build step that runs the 'Advanced Installer Tool Installer' and instead pointed the build call to the correct folder for our installed copy and that was working.

Hi Catalin,
I double checked that the License Key field is populated. I was storing it in a pipeline variable, but when we started having problems I also tried entering the license code string directly in the License Key field. Neither are working reliably at this time.
