When adding ASPNET Core Runtime 10.0.0 as a prerequisite, the Condition is set to look in a Registry location. It appears that a key for ASPNET 10 is not added when the ASPNetCore runtime is installed. The condition should be set to look in Program Files, same as for NET 10 Desktop Runtime.

I had to downgrade to V22.7 after 22.8 failed to run from VS2022.
I tried a new project: After I edited the installer project in Advanced Installer, VS failed to load the AI project.
The problem seems to happen after upgrading the project to Professional.

I think I see the reason: Changing to App installer theme changes WinUi settings that add to the installer size. Changing back to the Classic theme does not reset these settings.

I have a small app that when specifying the Installer classic theme results in an exe or msi installer size of 6 to 7 MB. If I select the App Installer theme it balloons out to over 30MB. If I change back to a Classic theme the exe file does not reduce in size.

No, upgrade to V21.8.1 still causes problems in VS2022: Wont load installer projects.

Sorry, bit of a false alarm. V21.7.1 stopped working today, in VS2022 as well.
Uninstall, reinstall of Advanced Installer seems to work. Something must have gotten corrupted in upgrade to V21.8.1
