One of the things my installer currently does is deploying DCOM objects via merge modules (.msm) provided to me by the editor of these objects (my application depends on these objects).

We're having issues because we need the 'Identity' parameter for these objects to be set to 'Launching ...

Hello,

I'm having issues with a custom action. That custom action simply prompt the user if the .net version detected is not equal or superior to the .net version my software needs.
I'm aware that I can use launch conditions to re-create that behavior but i'd rather leave the user the option to ...

The versions of the files have not change at all on the new version.

So this is not the problem.

I have check the "Always overwrite existing file" option on the 4 file and my problem is solved.

Before the "overwrite only if the existing file is older" was checked.

I have no explication why "always overwrite..." work better.

I have remove the Digital sign on each file (with FileUnsigner.exe) and i have still no files when a install a new version.

My trend Seciruty Agent have a Exeption for the "Application folder".

I really don't find what is the source of this problem.

Hi,

We just bought Advanced installer (Entreprise).

We have problems to put 4 files on our Application Folder on a Upgrade installation.

The files are :

- NRClient.dll
- NRConfig.exe
- NRMon.exe
- nrSvr.exe

(All 4 files are to use a USB protection made by Feitan)
