Yes, I had seen that. I was hoping for an installer that costs $1,200 + there would now be an option to use https so pwd not sent in the clear.

Hello, I know this is a very old post; however, it addresses what I need.

Hi,

My license to AI expired in 2007. so the installer packages I built back then won't open in the latest version (I downloaded the test). I was told I had to use an older version of AI.

1) can packages from this old be upgraded into the newest version of AI? If so, how?

Hi, I am having the same problem. I didn't see a resolution, so i will post my aip files and the verbose log file.

The installer runs; however, I get the issues about 'compressed file' (see attached log).
